Pooh Sticks

2015_apr_joe_main

The snow has melted here in C’Ville, and I’m itching to get outside. Today I’m going to play Pooh Sticks with Ruby and Olive. Pooh Sticks was invented by one of my favorite bears, Winnie the Pooh. It’s a great game to play with friends. Would you like to play? Here’s how:

With your friends (and a grown up), find a bridge with a stream running underneath it. Each friend needs a stick. Stand on one side of the bridge. On the count of 3, drop the sticks into the water. Run to the other side of the bridge. Which stick appears first? That stick was the fastest.
