Build a House

2015_feb_joe_main

Have you ever built a house for a fairy? Or maybe a ladybug? It’s great fun. Here’s how: go for a walk with a grownup. Gather sticks, dried leaves, pine cones, acorns, or pebbles – anything natural that catches your eye. Bring the treasures home and spread them on a table or hard surface.

Use the materials to build a house. What can you use to make the rooms? Try making pathways out of pebbles or furniture from pine cones. Imagine if a small animal or insect really lived here!
